Roundtable Expectations & Important Information

Expectations of the host church:

  • To market the event to pastors and any connections you have
  • To help get the registration list to a minimum of 50 people
  • To provide a room large enough yet small enough that can handle the amount of people registered for the event.
  • To provide light refreshments during the breaks such as bottle water, coffee, muffins etc.
  • To provide either a boxed lunch or a list of area restaurants people can go to within the hour for lunch (**Cost of lunch would be on the individual) or a box lunch for the people in attendance (**Cost would be on host church)
  • 1-2 Volunteers or Staff Members who could handle check in as people come to the roundtable.
  •  Reimburse Pastor Brooks’ travel expenses, reimbursement is only for Pastor Gerald not any additional travel companions.

Expectations of Gerald Brooks Ministries:

  • To handle all payment for any person registering for the roundtable. Payment can be processed over the phone with GBM, Online at geraldbrooksministries.com, or in person at one of the GBM Events.
  • To handle the ongoing registration.
  • Provide a registration list 8 weeks prior to the event, 6 weeks prior, 4 weeks prior, 2 weeks prior, and 1 week prior
  • Market to our existing database of Pastors.
  • Ship and Provide the notebooks and note pages for the roundtable
  • Ship and Provide the product to be sold at the Gerald Brooks product table

Room Setup:

There are various ways to setup a room for a roundtable. Pastor Brooks would prefer that a room be small enough to communicate effectively but big enough to handle the pastors signed up. For example: If we have 100 pastors sign up, we would set up in a room for 85 pastors knowing that roughly 15% are no shows day of.  If the building classrooms allow, we would choose a room that is built for 120 people. This allows for an intimate setting for people to feel comfortable. Here are some photos of various ways you can setup a roundtable:
